Studies on the Inheritance of the Kernel Growth Characters and Their Relation to the Yield Characters in Maize(Zea mays L.)

Abstract: 15 crosses were made with maize inbred lines according to method 4 of diallelcrosses to study the relationship between the kernel growth characters and the yieldcharacters,as well as the genetic effect of these characters on yield.The results indi-cated that the effect of the kernel growth character
