Study on the Ancient Rice at Chengtoushan Ruins in Lixian County, Hunan, Province

Abstract: Through discrimination of grain shape 322 ancient rice grains at Chengtoushan ruins were studied. The result indicated that the grain shape of 5.59% of them was like O.rufipogon’s, 51.55% like indica’s, 42.86% like Japonica’s.
